What to expect on your first visit?
The first step in treating the patient is performing a complete examination. This involves a complete medical review and factors such as anxiety, limited opening or gag reflex. The dentist will review any medical conditions or recent surgeries that may need medical attention before starting any dental treatment.

Following the medical evaluation the doctor will do an external exam of your head and neck checking for any abnormal lumps or bumps. The complete x-rays should be taken in order to properly evaluate the conditions of your teeth. Collection of this data makes it possible to avoid misdiagnosing internal exam checking the present condition of all your teeth. The dentist will check for any treatment that needs to be completed and assist the patient on achieving their perfect smile.
