Tooth Coloured Fillings
We are now exclusively using tooth coloured filling material unless requested. We find it to be a better alternative to the metal fillings. It adds bonding strength to the tooth, requires less drilling, and is more acceptable to look at. In addition, it is not an environmental hazard to dispose of, unlike metal fillings.

Tooth Coloured Crowns
Crowns are the restoration of choice for teeth that are severely broken down, fractured or clinically non-vital due to root canal therapy). They are also used to provide cosmetic changes with increased strength. The newer porcelain and synthetic materials make crowns almost undetectable among the natural teeth.

Anxiety and Pain Control
For those patients requiring just a little extra help relaxing we provide nitrous oxide gas (laughing gas). By relieving the gag reflex and decreasing the pain reflex we find patients able to handle dental procedures that made them feel uncomfortable in the past.

Veneers
This is a great alternative to achieve that Hollywood smile. It is made of thin strong pieces of porcelain that are bonded to the teeth. They are used to repair chipped, decayed or stained teeth and for closing gaps between teeth. With a bit of contouring, veneers can also rectify crowded or overlapping teeth. If your teeth have discoloured with age, a veneer may improve their appearance. Veneers can also be used for cosmetic reasons instead of crowns, which are more often used for badly damaged or decayed teeth.
